Niantic releases schedule of Pokémon GO events in August, in what's sure to be a packed month with both Pokémon World Champs and Pokémon GO Fest 2023

Niantic has announced details on upcoming events and activities in Pokémon GO across August, with an infographic posted to their social media accounts. The infographic includes a variety of events between now and the beginning of September. While several of the items included in this infographic were previously announced during previous months, the update does provide dates and times for an additional event running between the end of the Pokémon World Championships and the start of the Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global at the end of the month.


August's Monthly Bonuses for all Trainers
The following bonuses will be active from August 1st at 10:00am, to September 1st at 10:00am local time:

• Increased reward for seven-day Pokémon catch streak: 20000 XP and 10000 Stardust
• Increased reward for seven-day PokéStop spin streak: 20000 XP

Pokémon Spotlight Hours
A different Pokémon and special bonus will be featured every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm local time:

• August 1st: Vulpix ⁂ | 2× XP for evolving Pokémon
• August 8th: Paras ⁂ | 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon
• August 15th: Stufful ⁂ | 2× XP for catching Pokémon
• August 22th: Venonat ⁂ | 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
• August 29th: Tentacool ⁂ | 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon
